Italian kitchen appliance specialist, Smeg, has pushed the boundaries of domestic cooking design.
Intended for the serious cook who rates style alongside performance is the brand new 90cm freestanding cooker with double oven.
The SA92MFX is a generous but convenient size – ideal for large families and entertaining but able to fit comfortably in an average-sized kitchen. It features the classic and very desirable styling – in satin stainless steel – of one of Smeg’s foremost designers, world- renowned architect Guido Canali.
The main oven has a 65 litre (gross) capacity and features five cooking functions – classic convection, classic grill, baker’s function (bottom element and fan), fan grill and fan-forced. All functions are fully programmable to start and stop cooking at pre-designated times.
The auxiliary oven has a capacity of 33 litres (gross) and, while ideal as a plate or food warmer, also has four cooking functions – classic convection, top heat only, bottom element, and classic grill.
Both ovens feature double-glazed doors, have cavity cooling fans and a storage compartment that runs the full width beneath the ovens.
The cooktop of the SA92MFX features five burners positioned to maximise available space and enable woks and other large cooking vessels to be used simultaneously. Burners, all fitted with a flame failure device, include an ultra-rapid triple-crown wok burner, two semi-rapid burners and two auxiliary burners.
