Traditional timber balustrades at Slattery & Acquroff Stairs
Slattery & Acquroff Stairs have released a collection of eighteen contemporary and classic timber balustrade timber five distinct styles. The collection features timber such as Jarrah, Oregon and Tasmanian Oak, due to its versatility.
The Horizontal timber balustrade is made from American Cherry timber with a clear finish. A modern element has been added with the use of stainless steel handrails and horizontal timber slats. The use of steel string has created an open feel.
The Outlook balustrade is made from Victorian Ash with a clear finish. This contemporary design features two vertical stainless tell balusters at each end of a section, with six horizontal timber rail for the levels and four rails for the flight sections.
The Combination series features five balustrade designs. The balustrades range from stained Tasmanian Oak, to painted Victorian Ash, and most use a rectangular shape with hand crafted, ornate detailing in the wooden panels or twisted steel.
The Square timber balustrade collection features four designs. Crafted from American Oak with a stained finish, to Jarrah with a clear finish, and each of these timber balustrades take on a classic look. The hand rails are hand carved to complete the design.
The final range in the series is the Turned timber balustrades, with seven different designs. These balustrades vary between modern and traditional styles, and use Victorian Ash, Oregon, and Jarrah. Custom designed newel posts have been used in each balustrade.
