Gaining privacy without feeling like you’re in a maximum security cell is a mission in itself, but when you also have to factor in environmentally sustainable design processes, it can leave you scratching your head.
When Viridian Noosa was looking for an integrated approach to privacy and security for their multi-award winning development’s, they turned to Shutterflex screens, says managing director Peter Ryan.
“The Viridian project allowed Shutterflex to showcase some of our innovative products – corrugated privacy screens and balcony shutters.”
Shutterflex has been an innovator in window screens, shutters and louvers for over 20 years, and is dedicated to providing a wide range of quality privacy and security products.
Shutterflex’s louvred balcony shutters allow homeowners and tennants to maintain optimum light and airflow conditions through their windows, while maintaining their privacy. These window shutters also reduce reliance upon artificial ventilation, such as air-conditioning, adhering to the project’s environmental focus.
Coupled with Shutterflex’s privacy screens, in colours complementary to the surroundings, both window applications helped minimise the project’s visual impact.
