Frames and hardware are fitted to suit both the needs of the user and the detailing of the existing window framing to maintain consistency of design and pleasing aesthetics.
To ensure good clearances, all plantation shutters are fitted first in their raw form, where frames can be planed to accommodate any distortions in the windows and then once again once the product has been painted, oiled or lacquered.
The end result is a seamless integration into the building fabric.
Shade Factor can install plantation shutters in irregular shapes such as triangles, circles and geometrics, and the shutters can be supplied hinged, bi-folded, fixed or sliding. Some motorisation is also possible depending on the size and shape.
