Construction adhesives
Selleys has launched task-specific versions of its multi-purpose construction adhesive - Liquid Nails. They are Liquid Nails Mirror-Metal-Glass and Liquid Nails Landscape.
The first is a water-resistant, non-corrosive adhesive won’t damage the appearance of mirrors. It is also heat- and steam-resistant so is ideal for use in bathrooms. Its strong vertical hold makes it a reliable way to fix heavy mirrors and other metal objects. Other uses include attaching house numbers to walls and bathroom fixtures to tiles.
Meanwhile Liquid Nails Landscape coombines excellent adhesion with superior flexibility. Current rigid bond adhesives can result in unsightly cracks when subjected to movement and pressure. The built-in flexibility of Liquid Nails Landscape overcomes this problem. It can be used to stabilise retaining walls, to bond pavers and capstones, repair rockeries or seal between treated pine to reduce soil loss. It is weather-resistant and can strengthen and increase the life of dry stone and interlocking masonry walls.
