Sekisui Pilon  specializes in the development, production and sales of cross linked and closed cell Polyolefin foams. The foams are accredited to ISO 9002 and are available in sheet or roll forms of various thickness permitting adhesive coating, continuous lamination, die cutting and vacuum foaming options.

In house laminations are also done by Sekisui Pilon for manufacturing multi layer composites like Thermobreak which is a flexible thermal insulation material. Customized products for individual requirements are also offered by Sekisui Pilon.

The properties of Sekisui Pilon's foams include uniform closed structure, smooth surface, thermal insulation, temperature resistance up to 120 deg C, low water absorption and vapour transmission, chemical and weathering resistance, guage control and non toxicity.

The applications of Sekisui Pilon's foams extend into various industries. Foams with light weight, chemical inert, high temperature stability, ease of fabrication and low moisture absorption are suited for the automotive industry. Softlon foams are ideally suited for door panels, pillar coverings, headlines, sun visors, dashboards, boot locker lining and carpet backing.

Sekisui Pilon foams are also used in sporting and recreational products. A wide range of density, colours and substrate composites are available for use in shoulder pads, shin guards, kick boards, helmet linings, canoes, soft toys, backpacks, swimming pools and spa covers.
