The Rex fixed awning
The Rex fixed awning offers maintenance-free sun and rain protection for windows and doors. Using Rex Cassette aluminium bar, extruded in Australia by Capral Aluminium, Scandico Awnings can configure many shapes of fixed awnings in their Caloundra Factory.

This modern alternative to the fixed awning can be used on homes and residential buildings, alike. Powder coating of the Rex aluminium bars and the use of Colorbond or miniorb skin provides protection from corrosion in coastal areas.

Vinyl or acrylic fabrics can also be used and are easily replaced for refurbishment.
