Satelight Design was recently involved in the fit out of Optiver’s new training centre in Sydney by supplying ninety seven black Hive pendant lights.
Hive pendant lights hang as a fluid sea above the training room for new employees. The tessellating honeycomb inspired lighting array enhances the contemporary and dramatic feel of the space.
The light fittings of the Hive pendant lights incorporate a D.S.I. lighting control system for the control of different lighting situations. Motion and smoke detectors, which are concealed within some of the Hive pendant lights are also incorporated.
A percentage of scattered deliberately turned off Hive pendant lights combined with openings among the pattern add to creating the dynamic effect.
