Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) has been the heart of most control systems throughout industry. PLC programming from Sapeca encompasses track records such as one of heart of today's automated systems, most cost-effective method of control, most reliable method of control, clients staff feel comfortable with ladder logic, process changes implemented easily and quickly. Sapeca specializes in two well established programmable logic controllers such as Allen Bradley and Scheider. Sapeca provides a separate easy-to-understand manual that explains the control system in addition to the well-commented program.
PLC is connected to field sensors and it is controlling field devices. SCADA/HMI (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition/Human-Machine Interface) allows Sapeca to extract that information and display it on a personal computer screen. Sapeca can extract as well as display only the data that interests Sapeca and in a manner that could be designed by the company. HMIs can also be configured to permit operator control of the process from the screen. The three main players of SCADA/HMI include Citect, Intellution FIX and Wonderware InTouch.
SCADA/HMI can be connected to almost any PLC as per customer requirement. Usage of small displays is less expensive way of displaying process data extracted from the PLC. These are less flexible but may be right for the job.
