Aquacomb modular water storage system from RemTec
RemTec have developed a modular water storage system, called Aquacomb. RemTec’s modular water pod storage system is designed to compliment the current waffle pod concrete slab construction method, currently used by home builders throughout Australia.
The water pods are configured in 2 sizes, allowing the system to be designed to hold multiple amounts of water for reuse and less dependence on mains drinking water.
The materials used in the construction of the major components of the system (water pods/seals/flow pipes) comply with relevant Australian Standards for drinking water.
The Aquacomb water storage system meets the requirements of the Rainwater Tank Design and Installation handbook (HB230), and patents have been applied for. (Application number 2006222739).
Although the Aquacomb water storage system has been primarily designed for the residential housing market, we see it having far reaching benefits for all forms of water sustainability.
