In one of the projects by
Regal Floors the
sandstone tiles had been down for some time and started to deteriorate and were covered with dirt, moss and pollution.
The beautiful rainbow sandstone tiles add a touch of elegance to the buildings outdoor environment. However with time they have become covered with dirt, moss and pollution.
As a new section had been laid 12 months previously the difference between the old and new sections was dramatic.
The buildling managers had two options. Firstly remove and replace the older tiles with new tiles to match the newer section, or restore the old section.
When costs were considered it was obvious that restoration was far more cost effective.
