Bending down then lifting awkward or heavy products from a pallet can have dire consequences for an employee's back, not to mention time lost from production or the financial expense to the employer if hit for a resultant back claim.

Of equal consequence can be the act of attempting to lift products above a reasonable height to stack from or onto a pallet.

Both these potentially dangerous and expensive work practices can be totally eliminated by the Smart-Stacker automatic self-levelling mini-forklift.

The Smart-Stacker automatic self-levelling mini-forklift, available from Reflex Handling and Storage , self adjusts to maintain a constant working height.

The infra-red sensor on the Smart-Stacker can be set at whatever height is deemed safe and efficient for the job at hand.

When a product is removed or added, the pallet automatically lifts or lowers to ensure the employee does not have to bend or strain to continue loading or unloading.

The easily manoeuvred Smart-Stacker is available in a wide range of sizes and capabilities. Load weights range from 1000kg to 2500kg, with standard lifting heights between 1m and 2.4m.

Safety has been the major priority in the design of the Smart-Stacker, which meets design and safety standards AS 2359 (Powered Industrial Trucks) and ANSI B56.1.

Other safety features include an emergency stop, safety screen, effective braking and restricted access options. The Smart-Stacker is virtually maintenance free.
