Reflex Handling and Storage have added Prestar hand brakes to their range of Prestar platform trolleys.

Trolleys with Prestar hand brakes have a “fail safe” brake: if the lever on the handle is depressed the trolley will not move. Squeezing the handle releases the brake. If the handle is let go of, the trolley stops.

The push handle on the trolleys with Prestar hand brakes folds flat for easy storage and transport. Prestar hand brakes are available for the 300kg platform and wire cage platform trolleys.

These new models are sold as complete trolleys and the Prestar hand brakes can not be retrofitted.

Applications for trolleys with Prestar hand brakes include environments with pedestrian ramps when trolley may be left unattended, such as hospitals, nursing homes, airports and shopping centres.
