Raeco International has announced its acquisition by Corporate Express Australia which will be effective on June 1st, 2007. Under the new ownership, Raeco will continue to operate under the Raeco brand and from its head office in Scoresby, Victoria.
Recognising the success of the company under its management by David Speedy, CEO, he assures customers the current management of the company will continue to lead the organisation with no change in employee arrangements.
“It is important that we maintain all aspects of our relationship with our valued customers by building on existing resources rather than changing them”, explained Colin Gallagher, Managing Director of Raeco International Pty Ltd. “The joining of the two businesses in complimentary markets represents mutually beneficial terms for each and ultimately, our customers”, he concluded.
Raeco becomes part of the Education division of Corporate Express. Managing Director of Corporate Express, Grant Harrod, recognises the outstanding service levels and commitment of Raeco to libraries and educational institutions across Australia and New Zealand and is enthusiastic about the synergies across the Corporate Express family of divisions.
Raeco customers can continue to order from Raeco in exactly the same way they are now accustomed through phone, fax, mail or the increasingly on-line order facility. The only visible change that customers will begin to see from June 1st is the change in the logo to - Raeco. A Division of Corporate Express.
