RS Components is now offering SM500F from ABB, an advanced paperless chart recorder and field-mountable videographic data recorder.
The SM500F is simple to setup, provides four-channel data recording and delivers good performance even in hostile conditions.
The SM500F offers an innovative enclosure design that enables wall-, pipe- or panel-mounting of the unit.
The SM500F is also fully FDA 21 CFR Part 11-compliant and protected to IP66 and NEMA 4X against water and dust ingress making it ideal for monitoring and recording in tough conditions.
Setup and fine tuning are made easy due to concise menus and fully configurable inputs and data is displayed clearly to the local operator through a variety of display formats, including chart, bar-graph and digital indicator displays.
Data processes can be securely logged to a removable SD memory card of up to 2 GB capacity, which also provides support for archiving. Built-in Ethernet communications provide convenient remote monitoring of the process and afford remote access to logged data.
