RMAX introduces ThermaProof roofing insulation board
Recently introduced by RMAX - Rigid Cellular Plastics , ThermaProof is a new roofing insulation board. ThermaProof roofing insulation board has high quality thermal insulation and exceptional water resistant properties, specifically developed for situations where moisture is an ongoing problem. In these situations, any building components used must absorb as little moisture as possible to be effective and maintain insulation effectiveness.
ThermaProof’s water resistance is achieved by using BASF’s innovative water resistant technology, Peripor. As well as being a very effective insulation material for commercial roofing, ThermaProof roof insulation board is an ideal base for use in rooftop gardens, acting as a protective layer between the concrete roof and garden bed.
A unique series of interlocking joints makes this roof insulation system easy to install and resistant to leakage.
Defined by its orange colour, ThermaProof roofing insulation board retains all the environmental properties that builders and designers have come to expect with RMAX quality EPS building products.
ThermaProof roofing insulation board is cost effective and it is easy to install and once properly installed, will last the lifetime of the structure.
The Peripor technology was developed by BASF using expanded polystyrene. RMAX is an Australian producer of environmentally friendly expanded polystyrene for domestic, commercial industrial and civil engineering.
