The RIB Group, leading provider of technical ERP software solutions for the construction industry, discusses the use of its Construction Software AG by automotive group.
Audi.Being the fourth German automotive group to rely on RIB software, Audi has recently started using RIB CSuite in its Construction Department. The Audi plants at Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm have already been equipped with the new system, and licenses have been acquired for up to 50 users concurrently.
The main applications of the RIB CSuit used by Audi are designed to assist the company in its cost forecasting, tenders, contracts, controlling and key figures. The software is centrally installed on terminal servers, allowing it to provide the application via the Internet for all plants in Germany or worldwide.
"RIB CSuite is the ideal software for us to control our comprehensive, internal processes during all project phases. We will be using this new software tool increasingly for benchmarking. Concerning scheduled specific developments for future releases, RIB Software AG also constantly worked closely with us, '" declared Oliver Mergl of the Construction Department of Audi AG.
