Anti-slip surface treatment available from R10+

R10+ anti-slip treatment
R10+ anti-slip treatment offers a good slip coefficient.
R10+ anti-slip treatment is neither a coating nor an acid-etching treatment and will not damage or change the look of the surface being treated.
R10+ anti-slip treatment is an impregnating treatment which sits within the microscopic pores of internal and external hard surfaces.
R10+ anti-slip treatment can be used on almost all polished natural stones like marble and granite including engineered composite stone, all types of ceramic tiles, quarry tiles, concrete, terrazzo, river rock and porcelain and can even be used on shower bases and enamel/porcelain bath tubs.
The R10+ anti-slip treatment is long lasting because it sits below the surface away from foot traffic.
When water hits the surface, from as little as a wet shoe, the R10+ anti-slip treatment is triggered instantaneously.
R10+ anti-slip treatment immediately expands on contact with water and invisibly moves up to the surface offering a substantial increase in slip resistance. Once the floor is dry, the treatment then recedes back into the pores and sits below the surface.
The anti-slip properties can have a life of up to 3 years or more. However, R10 recommends the re-application of the treatment after 2 years.
Application of the treatment is performed by R10+’s national contracting network and can be applied with little disruption to the area. No curing or drying time is required. This means that the floor can be used immediately following application.
Every floor treated will be tested for slip resistance using a FSC2000 slip meter before and after the application.
R10+ has been chosen by Coles Myer to install its R10+ anti-slip treatment to its recently refurbished Melbourne Head Office.
R10+ anti-slip treatment was applied to a polished engineered composite stone quartz tile in the reception foyer. The results were good with over a 100% increase in slip resistance post treatment.
