QA Software wins tender for $A 375 Million Changi Airport Upgrade


QA Software  has announced that the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has awarded a tender for the implementation of QA Software’s flagship product, TeamBinder project collaboration solution for the $A 375 million upgrade at Changi Airport Terminal 1.

The TeamBinder solution was selected after stringent tender criteria to meet the needs of the CAAS with tenderers from the UK, Singapore and two from Australia all bidding for the contract.

TeamBinder will provide effective use of document management control to manage thousands of documents and correspondence effectively providing access to the recent revisions online.

“The proposed customised solution also provides extended feature of a fully integrated digital web-cam system to capture and record the development progress of the expansion,” commented QA Software CEO, Russell Mortimer.

Construction of the Terminal 1 upgrade started on 12th May and is expected to be completed by January 2012. The CAAS are determined to keep Changi as one among the top airports in the world. TeamBinder will help to achieve their aim.
