For increased energy savings, HighMount electric heaters incorporate a pre-set, two stage thermostat, which cuts from a boost element to an economy element once the room achieves the set temperature, generally at around 22C.
HighMount electric heaters are ideal for school situations where operator control needs to be limited and energy conservation is important. All HighMount electric heaters have easy-to-replace thermal fuses and are supplied with a twelve month service warranty.
HM7B timer/pre-set thermostats can be used in conjunction with HighMount electric heaters for further energy savings and functional control. HM7B thermostats feature both a three hour-to-off timer and an overriding pre-set thermostat. This ensures that HighMount electric heaters are automatically switched off after the maximum three hour setting – typical usage in a classroom situation. The overriding thermostat in the HM7B will cut power to the total system when the pre-set temperature is exceeded during operation on the economy element.
