Projex Group have released a UGA system which encompasses cable penetration seals and external pipe sleeves. These sleeves can be retrofitted to existing pipe or cable penetrations, so the penetration can be sealed against water or gas (or oils in some cases). The UGA range covers fire plugs of different sizes that can be used to plug holes to give a fire-rated penetration.
Projex Group offer multi-cable seals featuring different numbers of predetermined sizes of cables. These seals can allow for the fitting of extra cables at a later time.
The sizes of the cable seals are dependant on the numbers and sizes of the cables being passed through the penetrations. The fireplugs can allow up to 60% of the area of the plug to be utilised for cable penetration in conjunction with fire-rated sealant to give a fire-rated penetration.
