When the Water Delivery Alliance were designing the pumping station to pump water from the desalination plant at Kurnell, they contacted Projex Group to help with the problem of sealing the pipe penetrations through the pump wall.
Projex Group worked out what was required and supplied Water Delivery Alliance with the Linkseal system. Linkseal proved to be a suitable solution.
The Linkseal system, which incorporates sleeves (where necessary), sealed the annular space around the pipe. No specialist knowledge or tools are required to install the Linkseal system, but Projex Group can handle technical enquiries as to the size and method of installation.
Linkseal systems have also been used in water treatment plants, oil refineries, gas plants, fuel farms and desalination plants. The system can withstand over 12m of head of water and can be installed under water if necessary.
