Powers Fasteners - Insulation solutions

Suspended ceiling drop rods can now be easily accommodated when fixing is required from insulated ceiling concrete slabs.

Insulation thickness can vary from 25mm to 80mm and anchoring into the concrete with conventional length fasteners is problematic and labour intensive.

Powers Fasteners’  recent developments provide the contractor with a choice of two types of fastening solutions.

The 5mm Tie-Wire Spike has now an additional length added to its range that will enable it to be fixed through insulation of up to 50mm in thickness.

For insulation thickness above this, the new 6mm Tie-Wire Through Bolt length will fasten through insulation up to 80mm thick. These fixings are also ideal for supporting electrical catenary wire suspensions.
