This “in-floor heating cable” from P.A.P Heating Solutions is a twin cable design with a single sided power supply and is controlled by an electronic thermostat. It is installed on top of an existing floor in a cement screed or self levelling compound of approximately 6-8mm thick and can be installed under many different floor surfaces which radiate heat easily, such as tiles, slate, stone, low pile carpet and some wooden floor panels.
Elektra DM20 in-floor heating cables are “quick response” electrical heating systems and if the room has effective thermal insulation they may be used as primary heating systems. They are especially popular in bathrooms and toilets where they provide warmth underfoot and keep your towels and floors dry and free of mould.
Thermostats for in-floor heating
The range of Electronic Thermostats is especially developed for control of electric in-floor heating. Their design is for vertical flush mounting in a standard wall bracket or DIN rail mounting in a switch board (16 amp & 2 pole switch). The thermostats include either a floor or air sensor - the temperature is controlled with an accuracy of only 0.4ºC.
The Range:
MTC for standard room mount, MCC2 with built-in four event clock which is factory set or you can adjust for your own on and off times. The ETN is for DIN rail mount in a switch board.
