Onity’s new Advance locking solution has earned a Platinum ADEX Award in the 2007 ADEX Award competition, sponsored by Design Journal Magazine. The ADEX Platinum Award recognised the Advance lock for its modular design and unique ergonomic features.
Onity, a leading provider of electronic locking solutions, is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
The prestigious ADEX Awards are given annually in recognition of excellence in product design, with winners announced each Spring.
The winning products are judged by an independent panel of experts that represent a cross section of the design industry, including interiors, architecture, graphics, product, and industrial design. The awards are sponsored by Design Journal Magazine, the industry’s premier trade publication for design and architecture, with a circulation of over 70,000 subscribers.
ADEX stands for Award for Design Excellence and is the huge and prestigious awards program in the design industry. This year, 300 products from more than 1400 entries received awards in 91 categories.
