Océ’s New Wide Format Colour Printer to debut at OZRI 2008

Océ ColorWave 600 wide format colour printer
Océ’s newest wide format colour printer, designed for the GIS and the architecture / engineering / construction markets, the Océ ColorWave 600, will make its debut appearance in Australia at the ESRI conference, OZRI 2008, in Canberra from October 27th-29th.
The Oce CrystalPoint technology is a revolutionary advancement that combines the best of both toner based printing and inkjet technology for all around productivity and a variety of applications. This unique technology uses patented Océ Toner Pearls to produce crisp, waterfast high quality images with extremely accurate dot placements through a Solid In, Solid Out Process.
The Océ ColorWave 600 printer is the first wide format colour printer to utilise the Océ CrystalPoint Technology. The 42” printer holds up to six media rolls and prints at world-class speeds of up to 31 seconds per A0, making it at least twice as fast as traditional inkjet systems. Furthermore, because it prints an even semi-gloss finish on uncoated and recycled paper, the technology reduces the use of paper coatings that impact the environment.
Océ ColorWave printer output is durable in the office and on construction sites. Users within the GIS environment will find that the instantly dry and waterfast Océ ColorWave prints beneficial in developing city planning or co-ordinating emergency services.
This unique printing technology can be seen when the Océ ColorWave600 printer is unveiled at the OZRI 2008.
