Océ PRISMAprepare software was recently awarded a gold medal at one of Europe’s largest trade fairs, the Poznan International fair in Poland. Judges assessed products in terms of innovative design, functionality, environmental impact and the degree to which the solutions adopted in the product were easily translated into practical application.
Océ international product software manager, ErnstJan de Bruin, said the award was further recognition for the successful product. He said that Océ have numerous new installations in Poland, thanks to the user-friendliness of Océ PRISMAprepare software.
Océ PRISMAprepare software focuses on the user and the end result rather than on the technology, which results in a more professional and precise final product. The Océ PRISMAprepare software user user interface is available in 18 European and Asian languages.

Océ PRISMAprepare software is all-in-one document preparation software designed to increase the speed of job preparation in a user’s prepress workflow. Based on Adobe® PDF technology, the device-independent, open interface Océ PRISMAprepare software enables users to produce colour as well as black and white on Océ and non-Océ cut sheet production printers. The Océ PRISMAprepare software user interface is based on the Océ OCEAN user interface.
Océ PRISMAprepare software has already won several awards, including a 2008 Norman Nielsen Group award for the 10 best-designed applications in 2008 and an International Forum Design award.
Océ also won two other gold medals at the Poznan International Fair, with the Océ ColorWave® 600 wide format printer and Océ Arizona® 350 GT UV curable flatbed printer, both successful in the Euro-Reklama Outdoor Expo 2009.
