Novaplas Architectural ’s Tacalert tactile indicators range provides a large variety of interior and exterior tactile indicator products. New products and developments within the Tacalert tactile indicator range include: synthetic, metal, and also the unique and easy application of studs to carpet.
Tacalert plastic tactile indicators are available with peel & stick backing, stem back individual studs, or template and adhesive application (from Novaplas Architectural Products). They can be applied to areas of concrete, paving, ceramics, carpet and floor vinyl. All plastic indicators are suited to commercial use such as tiled areas, emergency stairs, industrial and mining industries, and rail stations. They are available in – black, white, blue, yellow, red, beige, grey, green, gold and silver. Custom colours are also offered (P.O.A).
The Tacalert metal range of tactile indicators, available in 304g or 316g stainless steel or brass, have the unique product called dovetail for stick down application (patent pending). This tactile requires no drilling, so there is no need for noise or cracks. Novaplas also has a registered design for tactile carpet installations called Texbase. Luminescent and nonslip inserts are available.
The ceramic Tacalert tactile indicators are 8mm thick and are compatible with commercial tiling. Ceramic tactiles come in black, yellow, beige and terracotta. Hazard and Directional ceramic tiles are available.
