This is particularly important for tasks of a repetitive nature; the risk of falls increases significantly when complacency sets in. Accessing shelving to stock goods or to bring stock down, an activity often seen in retail environments, is prone to this risk.
To assist businesses with minimising the risk of falls, No Bolt in partnership with Gorilla Ladders designed and developed a durable yet affordable order picker that addresses the needs of daily users.
The Gorilla order picker distinguishes from competitive offerings due to a patented devices and heavy duty construction. Some of these features include a patented scissor lift raise and lower operation (tested to 72,000 cycles without replacement), a 200 Kg load rating and Hi Viz yellow handrails.
Options include a boom gate that provides back support and an optional work tray. In addition, users can also opt for the patented stairway barrier. The stairway barrier is ideal for preventing non authorised use because it physically prevents climbing by covering the steps.
The order picker is currently available is 1.2m and 2.1m versions, with more sizes to follow in the coming months.
