The National Precast Concrete Association is a non-profit trade association, that represents the precast concrete manufacturers in Australia.
The National Precast Concrete Association has promoted the use of quality precast concrete products in buildings. Its members include precast concrete manufacturers, suppliers and overseas suppliers of precast concrete products in Australia.
Apart from representing and promoting the precast concrete industry in Australia, The National Precast Concrete Association is also involved in providing technical advice concerned with the installation and maintenance of precast concrete to designers, architects, engineers and builders by organising seminars and workshops.
The main aim of The National Precast Concrete Association is to share knowledge regarding the standards and regulations in installing and maintaining the precast concrete products between its members and to others who are new to precast concrete industry.
The key application areas of the members of The National Precast Concrete Association include the production of materials for walling, flooring, structural elements, drainage, civil, environmental products and glass reinforced concrete.
The advantages of using prefabricated walls, floors and other components are many; firstly using precast components results in speedy construction and then it reduces the over all construction costs, that too with good quality and durability, acoustic performance and sound structure.
