MultiPanel had a good response at the DesignEx show, particularly from the curved outdoor furniture that formed a part of Jamie Durie's display by Patio Landscape Architecture & Design.
MultiPanel’s innovative thermoforming capabilities were a primary reason for specifying the product. The ability to form free flowing curves by simply heating MultiPanel made it a suitable building material. The MultiPanel is 70% lighter than plywood.
Patio Landscape Architecture & Design showcased a replica Outdoor Cinema at DesignEx to reinforce Jamie’s Outdoor Room philosophy of ‘whatever living you do inside the house can also be done outside’. With MultiPanel being 100% waterproof, this adds the panels suitability for use in construction of outdoor rooms. MultiPanels are CNC routed and finished with a bronze acrylic paint. The waves were achieved within a short period of time after heat was applied to the panel.
