Multipanel building panel used in residential development

Before Multipanel
The Peak Apartments, located above Paddy’s Markets & Market City in the Sydney CBD, are Sydney’s first 5 star Residential Resort development. The strata recently undertook renovations to the buildings main entrance front fascia. The “before” photos show obvious signs of de-lamination, wind and water damage over the last 11 years since construction.

MultiPanel was chosen as the most suitable product for three main reasons:

  1. 100% waterproof product which would withstand environmental stress from wind, rain & sun
  2. Flexibility to form an “S” curve profile to contour to the original fixing battens
  3. Light weight making it easy to install and with less structural load on supports

After Multipanel
Other factors which also contributed were the wide range of available thicknesses and its ability to be painted, sanded and cut without special tools or techniques. The “after” photos show that MultiPanel offers an optimum combination of features for exposed outdoor environments.
