The Fire Vulcan LED Lantern also features two rear tail lights, enabling fire fighters and rescue workers to be seen no matter which direction the light is shining.
The Fire Vulcan LED Lantern uses a C4 power LED and a textured parabolic reflector optics to produce a piercing white light that cuts through thick smoke and also provides optimum side illumination to aid in navigation. The light lithium ion nanotechnology cell batteries recharge in five hours and weighs nearly 50 percent lighter than its halogen counterpart.
The C4 LED is unbreakable and has up to three times the output of previous LEDs, with a 50,000 hour lifetime. Measuring 190 mm long, 125 mm wide and 165 mm high and weighing 840 grams, the Fire Vulcan LED lantern features a high-impact ABS thermoplastic housing in high-visibility orange and a rubberised cushioned-grip handle for comfortable use. It is submersible to 1 metre for 30 minutes.
The Fire Vulcan LED lantern is available with either a standard AC/DC charger, or a 12-Volt DC vehicle-mounted direct-wire charging rack for better charging convenience and accessibility. Both models are equipped with a quick release buckle shoulder strap for easy carrying. The lantern has ATEX Approval and the charging rack meets the requirements of NFPA 1901-12-1.7 mounted in any position.
