Modtank have introduced a new modular water tank system, Modtank. Modtank is a versatile, modular urban water storage unit. The 77L tanks fit together like Lego blocks or freezer ice cubes, and can be fitted upright at 50cm in height or on their side at 30cm, allowing them to take advantage of under-utilised space.
The light-weight modules connect together by using a patented interlocking spigot and recess that permits water circulation between each part, while assuring stability as a complete tank.
The Modtank system captures rain water. The tank is manufactured by using a blow-moulded process, using half the energy of regular tank production. The blow moulding process also allows for the use of durable and longer lasting tank construction.
