Miele has introduced new entry level series W 1000 / T 7000 series of washing machines and dryers.
An integral part of Miele Australia’s 2007 Laundry Care Collection, this new-look Miele entry level laundry care series, combines Miele ingenuity with fresh contemporary design.
A striking attribute of the Miele W 1000 / T 7000 series is the new rounded door design of the matching washing machines and tumble dryers. Made from high quality polycarbonate material, the new door provides good impact resistance while its opening angle and increased diameter facilitates loading and unloading.
The practicality of these appliances is complemented by a fresh, modern design, all in a lotus white finish. The single-section fronts of the washing machines and dryers are softly bowed and seamlessly blended with the control panel while the horizontally sculptured side panels increase rigidity and further lessen the noise level on these Miele laundry appliances.
The flush, slightly inclined fascia of the series allows a good view of the controls, with a simple uncluttered rotary selector and LED confirmation for intuitive operation. The controls feature a centred LCD screen from which extensive programming information can be selected.
Washing programme names relate directly to the items being washed from Cottons, Minimum iron, Handwashable woollens, Shirts, and Denim, making the right programme choice just so easy.
A short option enables programme wash times to be shortened to 45 minutes. Not only saving time, customers will also save water with a minimum four star WELS water efficiency rating as well as electricity with a minimum 3.5 Star Energy rating for the washing machine and 2 star energy rating for the tumble dryer. A redesigned condensate container or alternatively, the condensate drain hose facility even allows water from the tumble drying process to be recycled and used on plants or garden beds.
The HoneycombCare W 1712 washing machine has a 6.5 kilogramme load capacity while the Novotronic W1511 with a microperforated drum has a 5.5 kilogramme load capacity.
The new W 1000 washing machines and matching T 7000 tumble dryers are ideal for side-by-side installation or as a washer-dryer stack. In addition, the units can also be fitted under a countertop in an 85 cm high recess.
The Miele W 1000 / T 7000 washing machine and dryer series will be available through Miele Chartered Agents from May 2007.
The W 1000 / T 7000 Models
The Miele W 1511 Novotronic represents the entry point into the world of laundry care with Miele.
Made in Germany and designed to last for 20 years under average household use, this model offers 5.5 kilogramme load capacity with Miele’s particularly smooth microperforated drum.
With appeal to a younger audience, the programme range includes Shirt, Denim and Dark garments, items frequently worn by these types of Miele’s target customers.
In addition, the Miele W 1712 has all the new features of the W 1511 Novotronic together with a 6.5 kilogram load capacity enabled through Miele's patented HoneycombCare drum system.
This special sculptured drum finish protects garments by creating a thin film of water between the drum and the laundry, cushioning the load for the gentle of laundry care. During spinning, hole penetration and therefore the risk of laddering is greatly reduced, due to the small diameter of the drum perforations.
The matching HoneycombCare Miele T 7744 C dryer also features the HoneycombCare drum system. The hexagonal sections on the HoneycombCare drum system create tiny pockets in which air is trapped and cushions the laundry as it tumbles. Drying results are uniform and laundry leaves the drum crease-free, a sign of the gentle of laundry care with Miele laundry care appliances.
