Melbourne design icon, the Adelphi Hotel, has changed its shower fittings for the first time in its twelve-year history –adopting Methven ’s Satinjet shower in all 34 of its luxury guest rooms and suites.
The Satinjet shower features a unique “Kissed by Water” experience, a substantial leap forward in shower technology. Pairs of water jets are directed to collide into each other, breaking the surface tension of each jet to create a cascade of soft droplets.
It has collected numerous accolades for design including the "DesignEx 2005 Best New Bathroom Ware Product" and most recently a 2005 Good Design award at the Chicago Athenaeum.
General manager of Methven Australia, Gaetano Pettinato, and national sales manager, Mark Bejatovic worked with the Adelphi to begin trials for hotel guests which led to the re-fit.
