Aluminum (Silver), Brass, Copper, Bronze, Iron, Zinc, Gold and Platinum. Our finishes are durable, non-toxic and can oxidize like real metals. The coatings can then be sealed in order to preserve your desired effect. LMT finishes may also be waterproofed if requested.
General Advantages
This versatile new range of durable, environmentally responsible Liqmet – Liquid Metals can be applied to virtually any surface only in one millimeters thickness to create the look and feel of solid metals. Unlike metallic paints these are real metals in liquid form. No high temperature, complex moulds, special premises or equipment, long processing time or high costs, involved in production and processing of Liquid Metal Surfaces. For example, to cover 1 sq meter of sculpture with Liqmet-Liquid Metals will be 15 times cheaper then to produce this through casting. With minimum training also provided by Liqmet, any person/company expressed interest will be able to work with Liqmet coatings at their premises, which do not have to be industrial. Metal Coatings by LIQMET can be influenced by controlled oxidising and other atmospheric impacts to achieve ‘designed aged appearances’, giving Metal Coatings by LIQMET significant advantages over cast or rolled metal product finishes.
