Collapsible umbrella is a tension membrane structure which has been designed to have minimal structural elements while remaining highly wind resistant. Collapsible umbrellas have no supporting members like cables or strut and have simple, clean and refined architectural appearance. Architectural umbrellas are fully engineered and wind rated to withstand 120 km/hr. The structures are made of quality materials with protective coatings to provide durability and optimum performance.
Membrane Structures manufactures permanent architectural umbrellas with sizes ranging from 5.15m square to 10.0m square. Permanent umbrella is available in both single and four-columned designs. Membrane Structures also manufactures larger, taller and linkable structures with even higher design wind ratings.
The permanent single columned conicals have a large spanning capability of up to 100m2 per column which makes the conicals very cost effective.
