How do you turn a dead-end garage-like space, with no natural lighting, into a focal point? This was the challenge at the new Living Well 5-star health club facility at Willoughby. Medland Mitropoulos Consulting Engineers , specialists in mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulics, data and communication, and specialist lighting solutions, came up with the perfect solution. Behind the translucent glass panels, the colour changing LED wall has been designed to meet the client’s brief for an active lighting design – as well as making a low ceiling area appear spacious. The control system offers the club a series of different lighting themes, allowing them to change the mood, from subtle and soothing to up-tempo party mode, with dynamic colour change and flow. Located adjacent to the entry area, the pool conveys the style and quality of the installation to all visitors.
