Filter varieties from Major Air

Major Air  distributes different types of filters manufactured by Filterfit. Major Air provides liquid and liquid, liquid-solid separation, systems and accessories. The different types of filters include replacement dust bags, disposable panel filters, grease filters, electrostatic filters, high efficiency (HEPA) filters, competitor replacement bags and media, fuel and oil filters, laminar flow cabinets.

Some of the area these filters are applied are vessel housings and bags, micron rated monofilament cloths, calibrated needle felts and filter cartridges. Major Air distributes to different markets such as environmental protection, dairy, foodstuffs, chemical industry, metallurgy and coal mining as well as aquaculture.

Applications of these filters include waste water treatment, as filters can be used to separate fabrics for fruit juice, beer and wine extraction, palm oil. Filter cloth for filter presses for the production of dyestuffs, titanium dioxide, galvanic products. Filter fabrics for the production of alumina, uranium, tin, zinc, copper, gold, kaolin, porcelain.

The wound sediment cartridges supplied by Major Air are designed for economical sediment filtration. These cartridges reduce sand, silt, rust and scale particles. The flow rate of these cartridges is up to 180 litres per minute.

The types of stainless steel filter housings distributed by Major Air are clamp closure, swing bold closure and hinged lid closure. The clamp closure is ideal for water treatment, pump protection. The swing bold closure is ideal for chemical industrial applications requiring frequent bag changes. As for the hinged lid closure, it is designed for juices, fine chemicals, hazardous liquids, paints and inks.
