Magnetic Automation supply PathMinder optical turnstiles for monitoring traffic at entrances and exits, and are ideally suited for use in corporate lobbies, government buildings and industrial complexes.
PathMinder optical turnstiles use infrared sensor arrays to calculate the quantity of people passing through and the direction in which they are travelling. They also provide easy access for wheelchairs.
These optical turnstiles can be used in conjunction with new or existing access control systems. Their prominent visual indicators display clear instructions in the form of pictograms (a green arrow for enter, a red ‘do not enter’ symbol) and they can be set to grant entry upon presentation of a card if required.
PathMinder optical turnstiles can be configured to provide automatic lane management for different applications. Options include the ability to automatically close lanes at night and configure multiple lanes to be entrance or exit lanes during the rush hour. These turnstiles can also be controlled manually by security staff.
