Magnetic Automation in Perth, Western Australia was approached by Update Fencing from Alice Springs, Northern Territory to provide a solution for the installation of a perimeter slide gate for the Muti Tribal Community Ranges Depot, situated near Uluru (Ayers Rock).
With the need to take into consideration the high cost of freighting the gate from Perth to the installation site and for the installation to be completed quickly, the Heras Delta Modular gate was decided to be used as the solution.
The Heras Delta Modular gate is the main entrance gate for the depot. Length of the Heras Delta Modular gate is 6meters in width. Entry and exit control of the Heras Delta Modular gate are handled by card readers. As the ground covering was sand and installation of inground vehicle safety induction loops was not possible, PE Beams were installed.
The Magnetic MSL 20 Slide Gate motor and controller were used offering a 100% duty cycle.
