After conducting a security assessment in accordance with recent changes to maritime security requirements, Fremantle Ports discovered that were required to upgrade their existing 12 track sliding gates and cyclone fencing to manage the increased traffic of heavy vehicle and containers movements in and out of the port.
Fremantle Ports selected Delta Sliding Cantilevered Gates from Magnetic Automation for the upgrade. These particular gates were chosen because they could be easily assembled on site, required little maintenance, and could be delivered quickly.
The Delta Cantilever Gates supplied to Freemantle Ports are operated with MSL 20 high speed and high duty cycle drive motors and controllers, in conjunction with MPT 13 full height turnstiles.
