The SPOT GPS Tracker, available from MAPC , is a satellite tracker/messenger for 24/7 tracking, help and emergency services.
The SPOT GPS personal location tracker is ideal for increasing the safety of workers in remote areas, especially those working alone.
The SPOT GPS Tracker gives a vital line of communication from just about anywhere in the world. The SPOT GPS Tracker determines the location through the GPS constellation.
As the SPOT GPS Tracker SPOT uses 100% satellite technology, the users do not have to worry about coverage.
The SPOT GPS Tracker allows users to send their exact location and pre-set messages to friends, family and emergency assistance independently of mobile phone coverage.
Using the GEOS communication satellite, the SPOT GPS Tracker send pre-programmed messages and the location to nominated email addresses and mobile phones. These messages can then be opened in Google Earth with a marker at current position.
In a real emergency, 000 services will be dispatched to the location through the local Search and Rescue Regional Communication Centre.
