Sand casting is a technique used to create objects in metals and in glass. Sand cast glass has been in use since the Roman times and in more recent years has been widely used for both fine art and for glass produced for interior design purposes.
Linda R Fraser Glass Sculpture has been producing unique glass sculpture and architectural features for more than 25 years. Linda R Fraser trained at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). After learning her sand casting technique at the Pilchuck school from famed Costa Boda Designer Bertil Vallien, she has brought the technique to Australia.
Linda R Fraser produces work for both the Australian and international market by commission and works closely with clients to produce custom architectural sandcast glass features. Her sandcast sculpture is also available through several glass art galleries around the world.
