Langford & Rowe has been involved in many prestigious rojects in the in the land, mining and engineering industries across New South Wales. Langford & Rowe have conducted surveys using GPS, 3D laser scanning and conventional methods. Some of the projects that Langford & Rowe has been involved in are the surveys for setting up of the Temora to Lake Cowal tansmission line and the rlocation of Ball Mill, CSA Cobar.
Langford & Rowe provides contour plans as well as detailed surveys showing the location of various objects on a block. 3D laser scanning services helps create accurate three dimensional images of real world objects. The scanner of the laser measures millions of unique points on the surface of the object being measured. This is then displayed as a point cloud. The point cloud provides valuable insight into any job.
3D Scanning has a wide range of application like in monitoring surveys for bridges, buildings and tailings dams. 3D scanning is also used in surveying roads, highways as well as pipeline, highway mapping, fuel dpots, process plants, open-cut pits, historical buildings, volume calculations and stockpiles.
Mining or landfill applications can be surveyed economically using the 3D scanning services of Langford & Rowe with results that would be difficult to achieve through traditional, ground surveys.
