ELIZABETH Moir claims to know her loaders, having worked as a director of Schaffer loaders for the past three years, alongside her son Cameron who is the business manager. Her husband Brett is director of the parent company, Agtech International. The Moir family brought the small to mid sized loaders to Australia from Germany and are establishing a name for these machines.
Schaffer customers include landscapers, gardeners, fencing contractors, shire councils, tree, flower and turf farms, earthmovers and mining contractors. These industries seek compact machines with loads of pushing and lifting power and Schaffer loaders claim to do exactly that.
The compact, versatile machines have been designed to provide maximum performance in small spaces. Schaffer claims to be the leading brand for loaders in Europe under the 6t operating weight. Their power ranges from 20 hp to 130 hp and their operating weight from 1,350 kg to 6t. They are designed with a Kubota engine and Rexroth-Bosch hydraulics.
