Knauf Plasterboard Products for Sustainable Building

To meet the increasing requirement for Green Building Solutions in Australia, Knauf offers a range of products certified under the Good Environmental Choice of Australia (GECA) label. These include MastaShieldECO, FireShieldECO, QuadShield and ImpactShield. 

Knauf’s GECA certified plasterboard products can achieve 100% Green Star points and do not require submission of further documentation for the materials category of the Green Star ratings tools.

• GECA Panel Board Standard 04-2011 assesses areas such as a products use of materials from sustainable sources, the use of environmental management systems and waste minimisation in production, supporting both product stewardship and the recycling of construction waste
