Kingspan Group Plc has announced that it has completed the purchase of a majority of the shareholding of Eurobond Pacific Pty Limited, based in St. Marys, Sydney, New South Wales. This state-of-the-art production facility allows for the continuous manufacture of insurer approved PIR (polyisocyanurate) cored insulated panels.
With immediate effect, the business will be known as Kingspan Insulated Panels Pty Limited and there will be some changes to the management structure:
• Mark Crimmins, formerly General Manager of our ColdStore business in the U.K. and Ireland, has relocated and will be the new Managing Director.
• David McMahon, who is currently National Sales Manager based in Melbourne, becomes Sales Director.
• Darren Stewart and Allan Bower, currently Directors of Eurobond Pacific remain with the business as Integration Director and Operations Director respectively.
Kingspan and Eurobond have been supplying ColdStore product to the market for several years and have completed many prestigious projects in that time, including the Woolworth’s National Distribution Centres.
The acquisition of Eurobond’s existing manufacturing facility will allow the new Kingspan venture to draw on both Companies market position, strengths and process know-how in fire safe insulated panel systems, while providing, with immediate effect, a locally produced, insurer improved, high quality, insulated panel to the controlled environment industry.
