The ETC Ion lighting console provides fully integrated control of conventional and moving lights

Clearlight Shows installed an ETC Ion lighting console at the Memorial Hall complex situated in Caulfield Grammar School’s Wheelers Hill Campus.

Encompassing a 560-seat memorial hall, function room and chapel, the Memorial Hall is used for a wide variety of productions including concerts and assemblies.

After considering various options in the market, Memorial Hall manager Brad Dart selected the ETC Ion console, based on their previous experience with the system when they had hired it from Clearlight Shows.

The syntax based ETC Ion 1000 lighting consoles are designed to deliver the ease, power and operational style of Eos in a small, affordable package, providing fully integrated control of conventional and moving lights.

According to Brad, they found the ETC Ion very user friendly with moving lights and LED fixtures. The console is also used as a training tool for their students. The quick programming features of the system help the students master the controls in no time.

Brad recommends the intuitive and simple to use ETC Ion console to any school interested in providing their students with the ability to program and control moving lights.
